—OPENING ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 19 AT 5:30 PM
Sensitive to the environment, Ana Rewakowicz’s artistic practice focuses on the relationship between human beings and nature, and highlights their reciprocal links. LSS (Life Support System) is a hydroponics system for plant cultivation in which the viewer is invited to participate. The installation is a study, the exhibition, a laboratory and the viewers are part of the experience. The artwork, which emphasizes our dependence on nature, invites us to rethink our environment and our symbiotic relationship with nature.
The artist would like to thank Pierre Jutras for the technical consultation, Keith Pattington for the technical design, Bruno Schmidt for the programming and Chantal Neveu for the poem that accompanies the exhibition.
