RESERVED FOR SENIORS! Are you over 50? Are you curious and interested in images and spatial perceptions of the environment that surrounds us? Would you like to better understand art-that-is-being-made-today-and-now? In collaboration with Centre du Vieux Moulin de LaSalle, a community organization for seniors, Galerie B-312 is pleased to offer an opportunity to introduce you to a variety of artistic practices.
FAIRE - VOIR - EXPLORER To discover your own way of creating and doing. To interact with an artist in their studio. To visit exhibitions and demystify creation. It offers a privileged access to art, an incredible chance to appreciate and be inspired by it.
Artist: La Famille Plouffe
Project: LES RAVAUDEUX D'HISTOIRES
Mediums: Sculpture and action art
In collaboration with Galerie B-312, the collective of artists La Famille Plouffe offers you a memorable creative experience, inspired by the figure of the storyteller, that encourages intergenerational exchanges. You will explore the range of artistic practices of La Famille Plouffe by making, among other things, small sculptures from an assemblage of selected objects reminding you of your history and ancestors. Combining fiction and reality, traditions and topicality, fantastic and banal, this workshop will allow you to explore new facets of contemporary art through your own affiliations. In addition to this workshop, a visit to Galerie B-312 and an introduction to the artist’s work will be on the schedule.
