Introductory workshops to sound art
In partnership with Action Centre-Ville
Magali Babin has been active in the experimental music and musical improvisation scene since the 1980s. Her approach is essentially based on playing with amplification and sound interaction of everyday objects.
RESERVED FOR SERNIORS!
Are you over 50? Are you curious and interested in image, video and sound? Would you like to better understand the art-that-is-made-today-and-now? In collaboration with Action Center-Ville, a community organization for seniors, Galerie B-312 is pleased to offer you an opportunity to get involved in art.

INTRODUCTION TO SOUND ART!
In collaboration with Galerie B-312, the artist Magali Babin invites you to dive into the world of contemporary art through sound. Participants will discuss perception and auditory memory in the workshops, through associating sounds; a memory, a place, an important moment in their lives. Thus, music, narrative, space and presence will act as materials and avenues for reflection for approaching the sonic dimension of the world. In addition to hands-on workshops, a visit to Galerie B-312 and to the artist's studio will be on the schedule.
When: Tuesdays starting September 21, 2016
Schedule: 1:15 pm to 3:45 pm
Duration: Until November 29, 2016
Registration: firstname.lastname@example.org or 514 874-9423
Limited spaces: first come, first served!
