I build landscapes with or without faces which seem to me to be as many delicate editing operations involving various disciplines. In a spatial setting where I favour active zones of silence, I am concerned about the gravity of certain bodies and I am interested in the thickness of things; questioning the lightness of their reputation. I seek to give weight to certain floating bodies which, translated into submersible materials, no longer guarantee the watertightness of their vocation and whose centre virtually calls for the presence of a body as a sense to be experienced. These landscape portraits should therefore be seen as a fascinating operation of de-figuration stimulating a return to the surface of delicate relationships.
