Starting from relational experiences developed during the creation of paintings custom-designed for individuals and their homes, the artists Pépite & Josèphe investigate, through various processes of capture and recomposition, the domestic spaces where the paintings were installed. With Les galeries-logis, the notions of refuge and exhibition space are revisited. The artists combine paintings, digital art and architectural creations in the large room of the gallery, while sculptures and sound art respond to each other in the small room.

Mimetic and metamorphosis are at the heart of Michèle Pearson Clarke's preoccupations, particularly in her most recent project, Quantum Choir. This four-channel video installation presented on screens is rooted in singing, a common activity in all cultures, both ordinary and extraordinary. More specifically, it focuses on the idea of a poor  voice performer learning to sing, bathed in insecurity, doubt and shame.

When the strange knock on the well-known door, it created perceptual and psychological discomfort. Involving itself cunningly, not to say sneaky, it causes awkwardness or fear. The artists reclaim a collective and symbolic basin to better invest it with a personal aesthetic.

Gabrielle Lajoie-Bergeron is the curator of La Track | The Track a project with exhibitions, residences and conferences in which artists from Montreal and Baltimore reflect on uprooting, disorientation and encounter concepts.

Curator Santiago Pérez Garci, director of the Museo Nacional de la Estampa (Mexico) join forces with Arprim, and Circa art actuel, with the complicity of Galerie B-312, to host a collective exhibition with nine Mexican artists.

Dominique Pétrin unveils her amazing 3D-2bits universe. Composed of colored papers and multiple ornaments, it unfolds itself in the art centre space like a tangy madala, in which geometry, color theory, art history and other mysteries are mixed. 

The Sensing Realities exhibition is realized as a joint project of Gallery B-312 from Montreal and Remont Gallery from Belgrade in order to connect and exchange current contem­porary art production from Canada and Serbia. 

Combining sculpture, installation, video and performance, Guillaume Boudrias-Plouffe explores the interaction between memory and culture, the transformation and transmission of traditions in relation to his grandparents. 

In these frescoes, Marianne Pon-Layus represents herself embodying a variety of characters. By bringing fine variations to each of her self-representations, she takes away from the simple self-portrait to multiply it into a series of avatars.

Ô divine is a projection of a very short video sequence mounted in a loop showing a strawberry at different stages of its decomposition. 

Stéphanie Pelletier's exhibition shows staged sculptures of cowboy boots, cobras, a dolphin and horse buttocks to reveal some of the icons of popular imagery.

Inspired by the world of the RISK board game, Éric Ladouceur, curator, conceived this exhibition project and invited the artists to participate in the utopian establishment of a new world order by using the Dymaxion world map.

Caritas is Latin for "high price", "expensive (of a thing)". But Caritas also means "high esteem", "love", "tenderness", "affection". This year again, almost 50 artists agreed to participate in the Caritas sales exhibition organized for the benefit of Gallery B-312.

To inaugurate its 2002-2003 program, Galerie B-312 welcomes Montreal artist Bertrand R. Dérive Pitt’s artwork, Dérive, in its main room. The work punctuates the artist's visit, in 2000, to the studios of the Christoph-Merian Foundation in Basel.

The status given to images in our societies today leads to certain questions. We experience the power of images. But on its methods of operation and on how it manages to attract and retain us, we may have less control.

Punctuation of space, dissemination of perception, this work calls for closeness, a reconciliation. In this movement of the spectator as close as possible to the objects, it is proposed to us to experience the acuity that listening requires. 

It is with photography as a theme several Montreal artists have come together to participate in Galerie B-312's fall fundraising event. The exhibition is composed of different works that raise questions about the problematic of photography.

 Seeking to transgress the prefabricated, the refabricated container shows a video content where the movement of a perpetual becoming is played out. 

Organized in 1994 by Julie Turcotte, the Échangees Exhibition presented in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu and Chicoutimi was intended to be a place for young artists and art historians to meet and exchange ideas. 

Under the title Site/Unseen, the works of the 9 artists selected by Artcite question, each in their own way, the notion of identity. Concerned by the geographic location of Windsor, the artists' practices are part of an incessant redefinition of the meaning of space and place.

Denis Pellerin presents his most recent work Icônes païennes. These works are a follow-up to the series Élaboration d'une identitépresented at the Cégep Édouard-Montpetit gallery in the fall of 1992. 

The figure is usually interpreted as an iconic sign, a drawing whose meaning is known and recognized. The figure thus applies to the image. It communicates, conveys information, all information.

Galerie B-312 presents a solo exhibition by Montreal artist Mireille Plamondon. The sculptures she presents proceed by assembling materials as well as their formal and conceptual aspects, playing with straw, copper, steel, wax and other materials.
