Victor Arroyo works at the intersections of cinema and contemporary art. His films are inspired by various modes of listening and seeing, the result of long periods of observation, documentation and archiving. The Disappearance in Three Acts project is a video trilogy that examines the political and social complexities of contemporary Mexico. Each act of the trilogy is an exploration of trauma and marginalized histories. At Galerie B-312, he presents Act 1, Act of Mourning.

Gabrielle Lajoie-Bergeron is the curator of La Track | The Track a project with exhibitions, residences and conferences in which artists from Montreal and Baltimore reflect on uprooting, disorientation and encounter concepts.

As part of Conversations Montréal | Lyon, Caroline Saves and Benoît Vidal propose a suspended choreography in which their performative and sculptural actions intersect and converse to question sign language through the memory of their moving bodies. 

Conversations Montréal | Lyon was initiated by curators Marthe Carrier and Chloé Grondeau and spearheaded by Galerie B-312 in Montreal. It has since become an avenue of exchange between Lyon and Montreal, with a particular emphasis on showcasing the local art scene in each city.

Curator Santiago Pérez Garci, director of the Museo Nacional de la Estampa (Mexico) join forces with Arprim, and Circa art actuel, with the complicity of Galerie B-312, to host a collective exhibition with nine Mexican artists.

In the videos Other Hauntings: A Geography Beloved (Dance) and Other Hauntings: A Geography Beloved (Song),both filmed in Gangjeong (South Korea), Jin-me Yoon explores the notions of history, memory, and landscape.

Artie Vierkant (United-States) is a celebrity of the "post-Internet" generation, for whom the Web serves less to disseminate or circulate than to throw up smokescreens. He constantly questions all aspects of the very idea of manipulation.

The Sensing Realities exhibition is realized as a joint project of Gallery B-312 from Montreal and Remont Gallery from Belgrade in order to connect and exchange current contem­porary art production from Canada and Serbia.

The 12th edition of Le Mois de la Photo à Montréal is resonating with the theme Lucidity. Inward Views. Jim Verburg is interested in the subtleties of human relations, especially the questions of intimacy and sexuality, and on what is often left unsaid in these relation.

Brian MacDonald asked three artists to create an artwork knowing that they would be part of an installation with a troubling dilemma: the works of art would only be an instant of respite in the face of the nuisances of the everyday life ?

Every year, Galerie B-312 invites you to support the activities of the centre by acquiring a work of art. Thus, you directly support the dissemination, recognition and the impact of current artistic practices.

For the little we know about Angèke Verret's works, we know that she does not paint. She lets the material do their work, once, twice, a thousand times, until the result is realized. 

Galerie B-312 opens its programming of the year 2004-2005 with the Aprenter l’île promenades urbaines, a series of events organized around the lunch of the artist’s book Aprenter l’île promenades urbaines- Montréal, vues singulières designed and published by Galerie B-312.

Angèle Verret paints some of her paintings by letting the fluidity of the pigment-laden binder interact with the slightest variations in the surface of a prepared canvas placed horizontally. This operation is repeated until the artist finds the result disturbing enough to address it to us.

Caritas is Latin for "high price", "expensive (of a thing)". But Caritas also means "high esteem", "love", "tenderness", "affection". This year again, almost 50 artists agreed to participate in the Caritas sales exhibition organized for the benefit of Gallery B-312.

Jean-Émile Verdier, guest curator at Galerie B-312, focuses on a specific aspect of the practice of 14 artists to help us understand the recurrence of a motif, its manifestation in various forms and the hypothesis it draws from it.

In a spatial setting where I favour active zones of silence, I am concerned about the gravity of certain bodies and I am interested in the thickness of things; questioning the lightness of their reputation.
