In her new body of work, Ayam Yaldo explores memory and draws parallels with the hole, which can be framed, revealing as much as it conceals, and through which we can look. Memory, on the other hand, is a place of preservation, but it never presents itself in the same way twice. It can be layered, fragmented, composed of impressions and blurred. In the hole of memory, things are deposited and forgotten, before being brought back to life.
