It is with great pride that we unveil the Winter-Spring program of 2022: three special exhibitions, presented in quick succession, to highlight the 30th anniversary of our center. With unique creations conceived by artists invited to commit themselves to the questions related to space and time.

The Les nouveaux mouvements exhibition presented at the Galerie d'art Desjardins in Drummondville is one of the 10 visual arts exhibitions not to be missed this fall according to La fabrique culturelle.

The exhibition brings together the artists Martin Beauregard, Karine Fréchette and Gabrielle Ledoux under the curatorship of Marthe Carrier (director, Galerie B-312) and Matthieu Dumont (ex-director of Écart).

At Galerie B-312, Chloë Lum and Yannick Desranleau present an exhibition featuring a sung and danced correspondence between an anonymous contemporary interlocutor and the Brazilian author Clarice Lispector (1920-1977).

Paméla Landry develops devices that perform a succession of movements evoking the ritualized manias of people with obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) in order to exploit and share with the audience the restorative quality of the ritual.

Clay Mahn's paintings and sculptures combine with Gary LaPointe Jr.'s drawings and transformed objets question the value, construction and transformation of the frame as a conceptual foundation as well as the languages and theories underline the concept of materiality.

Hosted by Monique Régimbald-Zeiber, this panel is an opportunity to think the symbolism of wandering and discovering in a creation context. Starting from their respective residences, the artists of La Track | The Track will comment on their experiences.

RESERVED FOR SENIORS! Are you curious and interested in images and spatial perceptions of the environment that surrounds us? In collaboration with Action Centre-Ville, Galerie B-312 is pleased to offer an opportunity to introduce you to a variety of artistic practices.

Originally from China and based in Toronto for six years now, the curator Yan Zhou proposes Breathing, a search and creation project bringing together Chinese and Canadian artists. The project addresses environmental, political, economic and social concerns resulting from the smog phenomenon.

In partnership with Tour de Bras, Galerie B-312 is pleased to host the Baie Vitrée event, a sporadic series of improvised music and sound art programmed by musicians Philippe Lauzier and Éric Normand.

Gabrielle Lajoie-Bergeron is the curator of La Track | The Track a project with exhibitions, residences and conferences in which artists from Montreal and Baltimore reflect on uprooting, disorientation and encounter concepts.

As part of Montréal ~ Habana : Rencontres en art actuel, Galerie B-312 is very pleased to present the works of Adam Basanta and Renée Lavaillante in a group exhibition hosted at the Centro de Desarrollo de las Artes Visueales in Havana.
