Every year, Galerie B-312 invites you to support the activities of the centre by acquiring a work of art. Thus, you directly support the dissemination, recognition and the impact of current artistic practices.

Push is a consideration of how photography engages the profound violence of the modern era. What is its capacity to reflect on this relationship and what is the necessity to do so? To what extent does such a reflection reside in a work whether explicitly intended or not.

This year again, almost 50 artists agreed to participate in the Caritas sales exhibition organized for the benefit of Gallery B-312.—60% of the proceeds from the sale are donated to the gallery, the difference being kept by the artist.

Heterosexy is a catchword that combines the idea of heterogeneity with that of attractiveness. This evocation of "attractive heterogeneity" resonates a bit in contrast to the famous Freudian "disturbing strangeness" without being opposed to it.

This exhibition was inspired by my experience of specific works by each artist — works that placed emphasis upon the living body in an ongoing interaction with its environment. 

Density is rarely measurable or given at first contact, at first glance. It requires time, acclimatization and perseverance. In the works presented, this density is based on an agglomerate built of and in thinness. 

 For the work presented here, the artist has chosen to invest the geometrical space of the gallery by adding volumes and intervening on surfaces. These volumes can be seen as outgrowths of the place, and the interventions on the walls as a propagation of the plan and motifs of the painting.

The installation of drawings that he proposes for the exhibition History [aufhebung] is part of a reflection on history as discourse and structural system.

It is with photography as a theme several Montreal artists have come together to participate in Galerie B-312's fall fundraising event. The exhibition is composed of different works that raise questions about the problematic of photography.

The exchange project between artist-run centres outside of Quebec and the Galerie B-312  is in its final stage with the presentation of the EyeLevel Gallery centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

As every year, B-312 Emergence invites you to a fundraising event. This time, twenty-six artists, to whom the gallery's project is particularly close to their hearts, will present twenty-five works on Préliminaires.

Under the title Site/Unseen, the works of the 9 artists selected by Artcite question, each in their own way, the notion of identity. Concerned by the geographic location of Windsor, the artists' practices are part of an incessant redefinition of the meaning of space and place.

This group exhibition showcases the artistic propositions of individuals active in the visual arts community in Saint-Jean, grouped under the theme À sources sûres.

Selected and organized by the Galerie Sans Nom Co-op Itée of Moncton, this travelling exhibition composed of twelve New Brunswick artists, will be presented in several regions of Canada.
