It is with photography as a theme several Montreal artists have come together to participate in Galerie B-312's fall fundraising event. The exhibition is composed of different works that, while being part of the specific practice of each artist, raise questions about the problematic of photography. Through a variety of mediums, the artists look at photography and attempt to shed light on the way in which it intervenes in their practice. The benefit exhibition DE la photographie is a fundraising event in the form of a silent auction. Those interested in purchasing works can bid at the gallery or on the Internet for the duration of the exhibition until October 11, 1997 at 6:30 pm. The money raised will be reinvested in the gallery's operating budget. This event is part of Le Mois de la Photo de Montréal.
