This free residency allowed Catherine Béliveau to continue her research on the impacts of the fragmentation of the forest territory by human activity by working on the fragmentation of the landscape through drawing and video projection. To explore the forest as a place of relationships, she constructed, using computer-generated images, plots of the mountainous relief of the Parc national de la Gaspésie and then modeled them by drawing in them the patterns those human activities have dug there for decades.
