From video documentary to conceptual photography, Emmanuelle Léonard develops strategies for representing public space. Her work has been presented in many solo and group exhibitions in Québec, Canada, Europe and Latin America. Exhibitions include Vox (Montréal, 2002), Kunsthaus Dresden (Germany, 2005), Mois de la Photo à Montréal (2009) and l'Œil de Poisson (2010). She is the recipient of the Pierre-Ayot Award (2005). Emmanuelle Léonard is represented by Donald Browne Gallery, Montréal.
