PUBLIC PRESENTATION
On Thursday, April 13, we invite you to come and take a look at our last workshop with the members of Action Centre-Ville, an organization offering activities to individuals aged 50 and above. This season, it is Guillaume Boudrias-Plouffe’s turn to invite a dozen of participants to explore contemporary art through assemblage of objects and performance! 

MAKE-SEE-EXPLORE
For two years, Galerie B-312 has been offering cultural mediation workshops for seniors who frequent the Action Centre-Ville centre. Directed by professional artists, these exploratory workshops, accompanied by studio and gallery visits, aim to help participants to better comprehend the artistic practice and become familiar with contemporary art, while allowing privileged access to the creation process. 

LES RAVAUDEUX D'HISTOIRES
Inspired by the figure of the storyteller, Guillaume Boudrias-Plouffe offered participants a memorable creative experience that encourages intergenerational exchanges. The participants had the chance to explore the range of artistic practices of Boudrias-Plouffe by making, among other things, small sculptures from an assemblage of selected objects in connection with their history and that of their ancestors. Combining fiction and reality, traditions and topicality, fantastic and banal, this workshop allowed them to explore new facets of contemporary art through their own affiliations. 

PERFORMANCES AND ASSEMBLAGES ARE WAITING FOR YOU
To complete this project, on Thursday, April 13, from 5 pm to 7 pm, Galerie B-312 will hold a public presentation of the participants’ creations realised during this series of ten workshops, which will be accompanied by performances. You are all welcome.
