Jacinthe Loranger lives and works in Montreal. She holds a bachelor's degree in visual and media arts from UQAM and a master's degree in visual arts, concentration in print media from Concordia University. Through a multidisciplinary practice, Jacinthe Loranger stages various objects, foods and animals that refer to still lifes in the form of paintings, sculptures and installations. Her work has been presented in several solo and group exhibitions, such as Pandémonium sous influence (Centre Bang, 2019), Ceux qui ont connu un armageddon sait sûrement qu'il vaut mieux qu'il ne vaut pas en créer un autre (Galerie B-312, 2017) and Bananapocalypse now! (ODD Gallery, 2016).

RESERVED FOR SENIORS! Are you over 60? Are you curious and interested in images and spatial perceptions of the environment that surrounds us? Would you like to better understand art-that-is-being-made-today-and-now? In collaboration with Action Centre-Ville, a community organization for seniors, Galerie B-312 is pleased to offer an opportunity to introduce you to a variety of artistic practices. FAIRE - VOIR - EXPLORER To discover your own way of creating and doing. To interact with an artist in their studio. To visit exhibitions and demystify creation. It offers a privileged access to art, an incredible chance to appreciate and be inspired by it.

Medium : Collage and Serigraphy

In collaboration with Galerie B-312, artist Jacinthe Loranger will introduce you to the techniques of silkscreen printing and collage by experimenting with the transition of the paper medium from two-dimensional to three-dimensional use. In the form of paintings, sculptures and installations, Jacinthe Loranger will share with you her formal and thematic knowledge of still life, inherent to her practice, through the staging of objects and other detritus. In addition, you will visit Gallery B-312, other galleries in the Belgo as well as the artist's studio.
