The year 2022 is reaching to the end. But just before it slips away, we invite you to our fundraising exhibition Pour l’art | Spécial 30 ans. A special edition for which artists were invited to present a work that corresponds more or less to the year they exhibited or participated in one of the activities of Galerie B-312. This means that within this exhibition, we will be able to find proposals, in both rooms of the gallery, which will make us see and appreciate more than 30 years of artistic practice. In the spotlight, the work of creation. Glorious works. You will discover some of them and recognize the others. Commemorative works, still alive, significant and relevant.—The artist-run centres were created by artists, in the context of the 1970s. They got involved in them, cherished them. A political commitment. Particularly dynamic in Quebec, many countries envy them.—Galerie B-312 is proud to conclude its anniversary by offering works whose acquisition will serve as much to finance the activities of the centre as to support the artists of the community, the real living power of creation. More than eighty artists accepted our invitation, warmly, generously. About a hundred works are offered for sale.—A unifying, inclusive and festive event.
