Espaces incertains is the first solo exhibition by the emerging artist Véronique Chagnon-Côté. Particularly interested in the viewer’s point of view, the artist creates paintings that represent spaces with inconsistent perspectives. She constructs ambiguous places where interiors and exteriors intertwine and where architecture and nature are confronted. The inconsistency of space in the artist’s paintings challenges and questions the viewer’s perception.
