Concert

John N. Sellekaers began his musical experimentation with synthesizers and samplers in 1988, influenced by the pioneers of the electronic scene such as Kraftwerk and Tangerine Dream, then by new wave emblems such as Coil and Cabaret Voltaire.

Marie-France Brière presents in the small room of the galerie Les bouches d'ombre. On the wall, two works, and in the space, two voices. Marie-France Brière has joined the audible to the visible and thus led the sculpture where it was not expected: on the wall and in the voice.

Paysages temporaires

The exhibition brings together a series of images that immediately suggest the landscape, either by format or motif. Francine Desmeules has captured moving landscapes. The shutter release speeds were slow enough to reduce the referent to chromatic differences that became increasingly intertwined.

After having animated for several years a radio show of hip hop and electronic music on cism, Ghislain Poirier turns to the creation of minimal techno sounds. He explores hip hop in an original way by deconstructing it and adding a touch of experimentalism with his raw rhythms.

Adad Hannah's projections are accompanied by fragments of photographic impressions from a unique matrix, an anonymous photogram found by the artist in Havana's Chinatown.

Doreen Wittenbols works in the tradition of figurative paintings and her main subject is sexuality. The artist, however, approaches sexuality through the question of the role, focusing on our behaviours towards others, and mainly explores the performative dimension of the image.

The exhibition Hodgepodge Lodge by Adrian Norvid presents a drawing work as rigorous as it is whimsical. An accumulation of drawings of different sizes cover the walls of the two gallery rooms.

L'angle mort

Frédéric Lavoie's installation is a box measuring approximately one and a half metres by one metre, illuminated from the inside, radiates a few centimetres from the wall. A video is projected on the only opaque side of this strange object. Lonely people, sitting behind a wooden table, are filmed waiting.
