Galerie B-312 is pleased to welcome in its large room Topographie de la couleur résiduelle by Aude Moreau. This in situ intervention brings to a close a project to inventory the painting collections that Montrealers keep in the sheds of their homes.

Currently active camera

Gennaro De Pasquale's Currently Active Camera is a collection of relatively short videos interspersed with countdowns that are reminiscent of movie starters. All the videos are a succession of still images that the artist captured on webcam sites.

Galerie B-312 invites you to the launch of Coffrets No. 6 and No. 7, which punctuate the 2001-2002 and 2002-2003 programming years. -It will be remembered that 2001-2002 was a memorable year for the Gallery's 10th anniversary.

Galerie B-312 presents in its large hall Garçon-Gazon / Lawn-Boy, an installation by Patrice Duchesne-Fort appreciated in his region, Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean, where he is actively involved, notably through the gallery Le Lobe and the Atelier d'artistes TOUTTOUT.

Gallery B-312 hosts Happy Hour, an installation by Alberta-born Montreal artist Nelson Henricks, in his small room. In Silent Film, a film that Nelson Henricks directed in 1994, a voice-over says, "You asked me why this film is silent?

Galerie B-312 is pleased to welcome violist Jean René and violinist Malcolm Goldstein in concert. The two musicians propose to improvise with the famous Nietzschean opposition Apollo / Dionysus in mind.

With this theatrical diptych, Olibrius opens a space between theatre and performance where, to serve Bataille's text, the actor first tests the resistance of his body in immobility; an immobility around which the whole event is structured.

Gallery B-312 hosts in its main room Point de fusion , an exhibition of the latest work of photographer Sylvie Readman. The exhibition includes eleven photographs divided into five works.

ANGÈLE VERRET

...AU LIEU...

Angèle Verret paints some of her paintings by letting the fluidity of the pigment-laden binder interact with the slightest variations in the surface of a prepared canvas placed horizontally. This operation is repeated until the artist finds the result disturbing enough to address it to us.

This year again, almost 50 artists agreed to participate in the Caritas sales exhibition organized for the benefit of Gallery B-312.—60% of the proceeds from the sale are donated to the gallery, the difference being kept by the artist.

Le Panthéon is the third and final part of the Pavillon du Québec, a trilogy by Cynthia Girard in which the artist works on an uncompromising portrait of Quebec's collective memory.-The exhibition brings together portraits of several figures of Quebec culture.

Gallery B-312 welcomes in its small Room, Itérative, one of the most recent works by Robin Dupuis. In this audio-video installation, in the space of twenty seconds, a delicate link between the movement of the image of a hand and a sound, the source of which is a mystery.

This exhibition revolves around an installation (which gives it its name) whose general appearance is reminiscent of a huge tree where Nathalie Lafortune has distributed found objects and others that she has made.

To inaugurate its 2002-2003 program, Galerie B-312 welcomes Montreal artist Bertrand R. Dérive Pitt’s artwork, Dérive, in its main room. The work punctuates the artist's visit, in 2000, to the studios of the Christoph-Merian Foundation in Basel.

I HAVE BEEN HERE FOR ONE MONTH AND NOBODY HAS WRITTEN TO ME YET

Lisa Hecht evokes in a series of large-format photographs (90 x 60 cm) a whole work of reflection resulting from a very simple gesture, that of obstructing all the windows of her studio with sentences written in negative from her workbook.

Heterosexy is a catchword that combines the idea of heterogeneity with that of attractiveness. This evocation of "attractive heterogeneity" resonates a bit in contrast to the famous Freudian "disturbing strangeness" without being opposed to it.

Fundraising Exhibition and Launch of Coffret n°5

For its 10th anniversary, the gallery has decided to give a different form to its benefit event and is launching this year an exhibition-sale governed by a single constraint: the prices of the works must be made up of the figures making up the gallery's patronymic.
