Photographer, art critic and writer, André Martin has presented his work at numerous solo and group exhibitions across Canada, Germany, France, Italy and Scotland. These include his participation at the Cologne Art Fair in 2006; Macula lutea, the last face, presented the same year as part of the exhibition En français sous l’image Espace Electra, Paris (curator: Jean-Luc Monterosso) La morgue, la galerie, as part of the Baie-Saint-Paul International Symposium in 2005 (curator: Gilles Daigneault) In Güstrow traf Ich von Runge bis Barlach - Goethe une Meckelburg, presented in 2004 at the Ernst Barlach Foundation, Güstrow, Germany, Mes modèles - leurs portraits at Circa Gallery in 2002, Darlinghurst Heroes - pages australes Maison européenne de la photographie, Paris, 2001, and the Vancouver Art Gallery, 1998, Mes modèles - autoportrait, held at the Montreal Museum of Contemporary Art, 2000; as well as La sphère de l’intime, presented as part of the Spring in Cahors (curator: Jérôme Sans), 1998.- The artist has published several stories (Editions Dazibao, Vu - center of dissemination and production of photography , Red Herbs, Editions Trois) and has produced several artist's books.
