Galerie B-312 has been working for fifteen years now on the dissemination and recognition of visual arts practices and the artists who create them. EMPHASIZE - The art that is being made today, here, now, this art that is current for us, is rich, multiple, bursting, but alive. And it is this art that we continue to defend and present. PERSISTER - Last year, we sounded the alarm faced a financial situation that was becoming for Gallery B-312, if not untenable, at the very least perilous and unstable. We were touched by the expressions of sympathy we received from the artists and the community. And many of you have responded and encouraged us by, among other things, acquiring a work of art for the benefit of our centre as part of the exhibition. Sales reached record highs. Sales alone accounted for 20% of our operating budget. This shows how crucial the success of this event is for our organization. RESIST - Today, we are again asking for your support. PARTICIPATE - More than seventy artists have generously agreed to participate in this sale. Several private galleries collaborated by accepting represented artists join us. You too can take part in this event by purchasing one of the seventy-five works presented to you. Your gesture, in addition to providing concrete support to Galerie B-312, encourages artists and the entire visual arts community. The entire community is invigorated. LET US INSPIRE - Works of art move us, seduce us, question us, disturb us. They grab us, inhabit us, harass us, haunt us. It is a generous gesture to give to see, to hear, to understand and to love this world which belongs to us and which distinguishes us. It is another to support its existence and scope. SUCCOMBER - Acquiring one or more works in such a context is to support a place, practices, artists, a network, a community: it is to insist, to persist, to resist, to participate, to inspire, to succumb - FOR ART.
