The Belgo artist-run centres and contemporary art galleries are pleased to announce a special event taking place on Thursday February 4: An Evening at the Belgo. The artist Mathieu Cardin will be present. Take advantage of this opportunity to come and talk to him about his exhibition, Il n'en est rien, on view until February 13th.
This convivial gathering will allow the public to (re)discover the dynamism of this centenary space in a festive atmosphere. An important centre for contemporary art for many years, the Belgo building is still the only place where it is possible to visit as many artist-run centres and contemporary art galleries at a single address in the heart of the city center.
The evening will be enriched by the music of: Navir and Ariel Le Mercier, HMZ, Dj Breezy and Cool Dad. Come see us on your way out of work, after the happy hour, or before your evening out!
The Belgo's art spaces, situated in the heart of the Quartier des spectacles, wish to make this rich cultural activity accessible to as many people as possible. Please note that due to the request of a large audience - professionals, art lovers, etc. - the art centres and several art galleries at the Belgo have improved their regular opening hours and now remain open every Thursday evening until 8 pm
Thus, Arprim, centre d'essai en art imprimé, Centre des arts actuels Skol, CIRCA art actuel, Galerie B-312, Galerie Laroche/Joncas and SBC Galerie d'art contemporain are open till 8 pm every Thursday. Galerie Dominique Bouffard remains open on Sundays.
