PUBLIC PRESENTATION
On Thursday, April 27 and Friday, April 28, 2016, come see our last workshop with members of Action Centre-Ville, an organization offering activities to individuals who are 50 years and over. This season, Geneviève Rocher has led a dozen participants to explore a technique that links cutting, collage and photography, a method that she has designed and perfected in recent years.

CUTTING AND PHOTOGRAPHY
Cutting is one of the first experiences of childhood. With this workshop, we offered a reconnection with this technique. The workshop, led by artist Geneviève Rocher, permitted participants to explore the different facets of cutting, folding and gluing, in the context of individual and collective projects. The workshop was also an opportunity to go for a walk in search of a place where the participants photograph the cut papers and capture images they could work with. Once printed, the resulting photos were cut and glued to further explore the construction of an image. To complete this project, a public presentation of the works created by the participants during this series of ten workshops is presented in studio 527 of Belgo. With the participation of: Andrée D'Amour, Joseph Kao, Nga Pham, France Reisch.

This project was supported by: Programme de Partenariat culture et communauté, offered in the context of Entente sur développement culturel de Montréal, Ville de Montréal and ministère de la Culture et des Communications du Québec.
